This collection has art deco influences realised by incorporating sequins, beading and embellishment to represent the geometric patterns that are so associated with this movement. Inspired by 1920’s flapper fashion the designs have shimmering surfaces with juxtaposing heavy embellishment on sheer fabrics creating simple yet detailed necklines that are feminine with a touch of understated glamour. Scalloped edging and pleating indicative of the 1920’s is used to create sophisticated styles with a sense of fun and the combination of light chiffons mixing with heavier fabrics makes for subtle changes in texture, shape and colour. The palette compliments soft muted shades of violet, flesh, taupe and champagne peach with rich teals, grey and amethyst details.
