This collection combines soft feminine colours of heather, dove grey, rich wines and golden caramel shades with accents of teal, gunmetal, black and metallic hints of silver and bronze. Sheer fabrics contrast heavier beading techniques which create an eclectic mix of geometric patterns within the designs using assorted bead shapes, sizes and textures; mixing matt and metal sequins, large rectangle foil lined beads, filigree caps, long bugle beads and seed beads culminating in producing diverse patterning. Techniques of applique were applied to create contrasting or tonal geometric shapes with surrounding beaded details, whilst rows of bugles and seed beads create unique textures by directional use. Texturized black metal and fabric shaped shards are used to create cracked glass style compositions producing a mosaic style appearance, giving the collection a modern edge.
