Creating all-over textural designs, this collection mixes silk organza, netting, chiffon and satin fabrics to give a luxurious tactile quality to the pieces in deep azure blues, subtle lilacs and off white tones. Cotton jersey creates soft ruffled textures through the use of individually appliqued shapes which are twisted and applied to the satin base and varying sizes of chiffon pompoms are clustered together making for an interesting rippling surface. Small delicate chiffon pompoms arranged diagonally on the tips of a diamond lattice are layered on silk organza over contrasting satin giving the pieces a subtle shimmer and multiple pompoms create an innovative trim edging.
